Good Samaritan Place is designed for those 60 years of age or older who want to continue to live as independently as possible. Good Samaritan Place is located in the Bonnie Doon neighbourhood with many amenities nearby including a shopping centre and grocery store across the street, a public library, medical and dental services, swimming pool, restaurants, hair salons, churches of many faiths and a Senior Citizen’s Centre. Good Samaritan Place is situated on many major bus routes and public transportation is available within a few steps of the building.
Suites are approximately 600 square feet and there are two floor plans to choose from. The closed style suites are either east or west facing, and the open style suites are east facing.

All tenants at Good Samaritan Place have access to purchase homemade hot lunches (Monday to Friday only) prepared on site by our skilled cooks, and all menus are planned by a registered dietitian. For your convenience complimentary laundry facilities are available on each floor. As well, there is a hairdresser on site who is available on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday by appointment only. Good Samaritan Place is attached to Ascension Lutheran Church for easy access.
Please note that pets are not allowed. The Good Samaritan TeleCare® emergency response system is optional and available at a monthly rental cost.

In partnership with Alberta Health Services, The Good Samaritan Society CHOICE© Program (Comprehensive Home Option for Integrated Care of the Elderly) provides seniors with complex medical conditions (who might otherwise be eligible for admission to a continuing care centre) the advantage of living at home by utilizing the support services made available at the site.
