The Good Samaritan Society is fortunate to have committed volunteers that help us deliver on our Mission to provide Christian Hospitality to those in need or at risk. Thank you to all of our volunteers for the generous gift of your time and for always being there to extend a helping hand. You are truly invaluable to our organization. If you are interested in learning more about how you can get involved with your local Good Samaritan care home as a volunteer, please visit: https://gss.org/volunteer/.
Below are two projects that were made possible by our wonderful volunteers in Lethbridge:
Project Paintbrush was created to assist Lethbridge seniors and special needs residents who are physically and financially unable to paint their fences or exteriors of their homes. Each summer individuals, community groups, and corporate employees volunteer their time to paint homes and fences in our community. The Good Samaritan Society Park Meadows Village and Cottages were fortunate to receive a fresh coat of paint on their fences from Volunteer Lethbridge Project Paintbrush! This was a fun way for the volunteers to give back to the community and to make a difference. The residents and staff at Good Samaritan Park Meadows Village and Cottages are certainly enjoying the brightened fence. Thank you to Volunteer Lethbridge and Project Paintbrush!
The Empty Spools volunteer group from the local Immanuel Lutheran Church stopped by The Good Samaritan Society Park Meadows Village and Cottages to view their wall hangings and brought with them lap blankets, quilts, aprons, and knitted socks for our residents! Thank you to the Empty Spools for your lovely gifts!
