“Use the gifts you’ve received for the good of one another.”

1 Peter 4:10

Our community is one of riches. The residents we serve, the stewardship of our history, the potential for our faith-filled future—we are part of something incredible. One way we offer exceptional care and comfort across the Good Samaritan is through the gift of our chaplains.

Each day, they accompany staff, residents, family members, volunteers, students, and community partners as we live and share our lives in community. Connecting to cultural and spiritual resources, chaplains help residents live their most authentic lives, feel comfortable in their homes, and practice their faith, spirituality, and culture. Chaplains offer interdenominational programming, spiritual care engagement groups, and spending time one-on-one in discussion and reflection.

This gift is made possible by you. Our Chaplains’ work has been instrumental since Good Samaritan began and will continue to be so into the future. As a not-for-profit and charitable provider, we rely on donations to fund our chaplaincy program to ensure this aspect of care continues. Our hope is that you would partner with us in doing good and taking care, valuing the spiritual care provided to our amazing residents.

This year, our goal is to raise $15,000 to continue offering pastoral, cultural, and spiritual care services through our Chaplaincy program. We invite you to partner with us to do good and share with those in need. Help our residents live their best lives and share from the goodness you have received to make a contribution that will directly impact the quality of care provided to those who make a home at Good Samaritan. Because the world could use more Good Samaritans.
