Summer fun in the Sun

The volunteers of the Hastings Avenue Garden present their 2nd annual Harvest Party Sunday, August 20, 2017, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Come out and celebrate our bountiful harvest and tour our newly expanded garden that has double the space and triple the amount of produce. There is something for everyone!
Learn how to make salsa, try your hand at sketching, coffee can art, kid’s games, and much more!
The garden is located on the north side of Good Samaritan Village by the Station.
Demos:
- Sketching: 1:00 p.m.
- Fresh salsa demonstration: 1:45 p.m.
- Learn how to make a bee bath: 2:00 p.m.
- Kid’s games, scavenger hunt, parachute games, potatoes sack races, coffee can art/flower pot: 2:45 p.m.
- Find the potatoes: 3:30 p.m.
Enjoy hot dogs, salsa and chips, veggies and dip, beverages and dessert!
