Good Samaritan Southgate Care Centre Volunteer Pastoral Care Visitor Orientation & Luncheon

This event is for the purpose of expressing our appreciation for the volunteers joining us in this very rewarding ministry. Two of our Volunteer Coordinators will be available to answer questions and explain what it means to be a volunteer guided by The Good Samaritan Society values of healthy relationships, hospitable environments and servant leadership. An experienced Volunteer Pastoral Care Visitor will share how this ministry of compassionate presence has enriched her life. A tour of Southgate will also be provided.

Welcome to the Good Samaritan well wishes page.

This form allows you to send a message to a loved one that is currently in our care.

The email is checked every weekday and is hand-delivered by staff to residents/clients in the afternoon.

Messages received after 1 p.m., on weekends, or statutory holidays will be delivered the next business day.

Please note that this tool is only to be used for well wishes – any other type of communication or messages (emails conducting personal business, containing questionable content, or solicitations) will not be delivered and will be deleted from the system.

Any photographs submitted will be printed and given to the client, or shown to the client electronically. Once the client has a printed copy, or has been shown the photograph, the original file will be deleted. The GSS/GSC will not store any photographs and the person submitting the photograph does so at their own risk. The photographs will not be filed on the client record, nor will they remain in the custody or control of the GSS/GSC.
