The Good Samaritan Society’s Pastoral Care Visitor Training will provide you with a basic understanding of Pastoral Care given to hospital patients, long term/complex care and assisted/supportive living residents, community shut-ins and congregation members, and practical skills in visiting. Well Wishes

Welcome to the Good Samaritan well wishes page.

This form allows you to send a message to a loved one that is currently in our care.

The email is checked every weekday and is hand-delivered by staff to residents/clients in the afternoon.

Messages received after 1 p.m., on weekends, or statutory holidays will be delivered the next business day.

Please note that this tool is only to be used for well wishes – any other type of communication or messages (emails conducting personal business, containing questionable content, or solicitations) will not be delivered and will be deleted from the system.

Any photographs submitted will be printed and given to the client, or shown to the client electronically. Once the client has a printed copy, or has been shown the photograph, the original file will be deleted. The GSS/GSC will not store any photographs and the person submitting the photograph does so at their own risk. The photographs will not be filed on the client record, nor will they remain in the custody or control of the GSS/GSC.
