Good Samaritan Mountainview Village us holding a ‘Roaring Twenties Night’ – a ‘berries sockdollager (awesome party) – to raise money for both a Duet Bike and a benevolent fund to assist residents with niceties and necessities like haircuts and transit and taxi vouchers.

The sockdollager is October 15 at 7 p.m. at Mountainview Village’s Assisted Living main dining room (1540 KLO Road). Tickets are $20.00 at Mountainview Village, 3070 Burtch Road (Complex Care Building off KLO), or you can reserve one of the limited tickets by calling 250-859-8479.
So, in the vernacular of the times, get your glad rags on, jump in the hayburner and head for the berries sockdollager of 1920! Glorious desserts, wine, swinging jazz music, and a fabulous silent auction! Get your 1920’s fortune read by Madame Phonyushka and get your picture taken in your best flapper gear with some sweet vintage wheels.
