The Good Samaritan Society launched their Make Life More fundraising campaign to take life and make it more joyful, creative, engaging and soulful for those in need.
Edmonton, AB – November 28, 2017—The Good Samaritan Society officially kicked off its new “Make Life More” fundraising campaign in November.
Make Life More’s intention is to turn The Good Samaritan Society’s comfortable care homes into remarkable ones for local seniors and Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD).
The Make Life More campaign launch educated roughly 40 staff, board members, and guests in attendance about the not-for-profit’s government funding, which covers only the basic level of care for residents and clients. Proceeds from Make Life More will allow the charity to provide art therapy, music therapy, gardens, gazebos, improved lifts, community outings, upgraded transportation, and many more comforts for those who call The Good Samaritan Society, home.
“Each dollar gifted directly impacts The Good Samaritan Society’s ability to provide enriching programming and care to our residents and clients,” Shannon Goralski, Fund Development Coordinator for The Good Samaritan Society said. “Donors have the power to transform lives and truly make life more for fellow community members.”
The Good Samaritan Society will create even warmer, happier homes for thousands of individuals with the help of donors. It’s time to take life and make it more joyful, accessible, and creative. Help Make Life More at www.gss.org/makelifemore.
