The Good Samaritan Society, a Lutheran Social Service Organization, is a not-for-profit, registered charity with over 65 years of experience providing specialized health and community care services in innovative and caring environments.
Dear Good Samaritan Volunteer,
As it is National Volunteer Week, I wanted to send a heartfelt thank you for all of your support. While we can’t currently celebrate with you in person, it was important to me that we were able to say thank you in some way until we can see you again.
Over the past year, volunteers like you have donated over 72,968 hours to assist those in our care. Those hours represent extra hands, help, hugs, and so much more. I hope you know that your contributions are invaluable to us, and you make a remarkable difference to our residents and brighten their days each time you come to visit. I can’t possibly say it enough, thank you for sharing your valuable time and talents with us – it means more than you can ever know to those in our care.
Both the residents and our employees miss you and are looking forward to the day when they can see you again and thank you properly in person. I hope that you are staying safe and healthy amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, and thank you for choosing to be a part of our Good Samaritan family.
