The Good Samaritan Society is excited to invite you again to support the 5th Annual Southern Alberta Spirit of Caring Golf Classic on June 10, 2025, at Paradise Canyon Golf Resort in Lethbridge.

Once again, our title sponsors are our excellent partners at CareRx.

The day starts at 7:30 a.m. with a complimentary breakfast buffet in the clubhouse, and golf starts promptly at 8:30 a.m. The 18 holes should wrap up by 1:30 p.m. with an awards banquet.

SPONSORSHIP: We are currently seeking sponsors for the event. By sponsoring, you can promote your business at the tournament and receive complimentary golf registration for up to eight golfers, depending on your level of investment. You can purchase your sponsorship directly by clicking here and paying by credit card.

GOLFING: To register to play golf, click here. The fee is $200 per golfer, including a round at the beautiful Paradise Canyon, cart rental, breakfast, and an awards banquet.

If you wish to be invoiced for sponsorship or golf, please email us at funddev@gss.org.

DONATIONS: We also seek donations of silent auction items, raffle prizes, and awards for this tournament. We would love to showcase Southern Alberta businesses, venues, events, products, and services in our prize pool. Please consider supporting the residents in our homes. Why golf with us?

Your participation in our tournament will help us provide comfort and enhanced care for everyone who walks through our doors. All the funds we raise through this tournament will be used in southern Alberta to support nearly 1,000 residents in our Good Samaritan care homes:

  • Outdoor recreation equipment, including accessible gardening boxes, activities and furniture.
  • Dementia care, including specialized assistive therapies and tools.
  • Group activities to help with socialization and help residents feel part of a community.

Last year, Good Samaritan celebrated its 75th anniversary of providing excellent care and accommodations across western Canada. As a not-for-profit, registered charity, we are deeply grateful for your past support and rely on community donations to enhance resident care and continue our mission of extending Christian hospitality to people and communities in need.

Please consider participating; email us at funddev@gss.org. Or call the Fund Development department at 780-431-3757.
