Go the Distance... Be the Difference... Volunteer!
Providing service support to most of our clientele, volunteers play a major role in the quality of life provided to individuals in our care. Over 1200 volunteers of The Good Samaritan Society contribute to assist us in providing care to over 4400 clients.
We consider volunteers to be an integral part of The Society. Volunteers enhance care to residents and enrich their lives. In addition to personally rewarding and important volunteer tasks, The Society provides volunteers with orientation, training and support, and further educational opportunities .
Becoming a Volunteer
Every year, over 1200 volunteers of all ages play an integral part in our facilities and programs. These people generously donate their time, energy and experience in the communities throughout Alberta and British Columbia. As The Society expands into new communities, additional volunteer opportunities are becoming available to help enhance the lives of others as well as the lives of its volunteers.
